Historic Main Street Placerville geographically runs east-west just south of U.S. Highway 50 and is bounded on the east end roughly by Cedar Ravine Street and on the west end roughly by Canal Street. On this page are driving directions from a few locations.
The main parking areas are the Center Street Parking Garage and the various lots (shown on the above map with a “P” in the green square.
NOTE: Parking Regulations NOT Enforced on Sundays
The parking in the City of Placerville includes one free 2 hour parking stint per day. Moving your vehicle to another location after your 2 hours of free parking is up does not start the free two hours over again. Also the 2 free hours cannot be broken out throughout the day. The free 2 hours does not stop and start through out the day as you come and go. Once the 2 hours starts it runs its course and any further time needed will have to be purchased.
