Flower Baskets on Main Street

Flower Baskets on Main Street is a community beautification project that features colorful, blooming, pollinator friendly flowers in baskets that hang on light poles in the downtown district of Placerville, from June to September. The Flower Baskets on Main Street Project assists in preserving and promoting the historic, cultural, social and economic vitality of the downtown district that enhances the streetscape and instills a sense of pride for those that live, work, or visit our historic town.

The project engages community partnership that includes our friends at Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises (M.O.R.E).

The Placerville Downtown Association is proud to announce that The Women’s Fund El Dorado has awarded PDA a community benefit grant of $6,000 to the Flower Baskets on Main Street Project.

The Flower Baskets on Main Street Project would not be possible without the support of community partners, organizations, City governments, and individual contributions.
