Gold Country Artists Gallery
Gold Country Artists Gallery was founded by a small group of local artists in 1992. Many of the founding and very early artists are current members and continue to display their work at the Gallery. Membership has grown through the years to over forty-five award-winning artists today. The Gallery is Placerville’s longest operating and only cooperative art gallery. The Gallery is staffed by member artists.

Visitors can enjoy the Gallery’s art in a relaxed atmosphere. Among the versatile artists, there are a wide variety of styles and mediums, including paintings in oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic, handcrafted silver and gold jewelry, polymer clay jewelry, fused glass, raku pottery, photography, bronze sculpture, woodturnings, and the very popular painted gourds. A unique piece awaits the discriminating art collector. There is something for every taste and budget.
